Youth Results - 02/12/2023 - 03/12/2023

Wrap up of the Deres youth action over a freezing cold weekend.

The temperature certainly dropped this weekend with some games falling foul of the weather but there was some great results in the games that did go ahead.

Here are how all the teams got on;

Saturday 2nd December
The first game that fell victim to the frozen weather was our Under 15 Girls fixture that was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Sunday 5th November
Our Under 12 Black side marched into the next round of the Selkent U12 Cup Two with a 10-1 win against KSI Coaching, this sees the Deres make the Quarter Finals and they will travel over to Plumstead to face Teviot Rangers White in the last eight.

The Under 12 Blue's also picked up a cup win with a 3-0 win against Welling United Reds at Footscray Rugby Club in the Selkent U12 Cup One. The Quarter Final reward for the Deres is another home tie, this time against Crayford Arrows United

The Under 12 Pink side continued their rise up the table edging a seven goal thriller 4-3 against Shooters Hill AFC Green

The frozen temperatures in Kent meant the Under 14's KCFA Cup fixture away to Sittingbourne Youth was postponed, due to Kent FA rules we will try again this following Sunday on the 10th December.

The Under 15's picked up a 2-0 win away to Vikings FC in the Selkent U15A Division. The win sees the Deres remain in 4th place with 13 points from their first 10 games.

The Under 16 Blue were edged out 2-1 in a tight loss against Long Lane. Michael Olukan got the Deres goal who now sit 4th in the table while Long Lane are in 2nd.

Lastly our Under 17's side was beaten 4-3 in a tight seven goal thriller at home to AFC Green Court.
