The draw was made for the London Senior Cup over the weekend and it is another away tie for the Deres as we will make the trip up to North London in December to take on Wingate & Finchley.

The Blues play in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division and finished 4th in the table before losing out in the play off semi final against eventual play off winners Enfield Town.

Last season the Deres were knocked out in the opening round of the cup losing 2-1 at home to Fisher whereas our opponents beat Brentford B in the first round 2-0 before being knocked out by Hendon in round two 1-0. The cup was eventually won by Charlton Athletic who beat Hendon 2-1 in the final.

Our recent history saw a certain former England captain make an appearance at the Acclaim Handling Community Stadium watching his son when we took in Brentford B. The winner of the tie this time around has the potential opportunity of a home tie in the next round against holders Charlton Athletic.

The tie is due to take place week commencing 28th October 2024, we will confirm all the details once they are known.
