Club Statement - Matt Longhurst

We express our heartfelt appreciation to our Matthew Longhurst for the unwavering commitment and passion he brought to our club during his tenure.

As he embarks on new challenges, we extend our warmest wishes for success and fulfilment in all his future endeavours to him and his family.

Thank you for the memorable moments and contributions that have enriched our club's history. Most notably the historic quarter final FA Vase Run and the league run in last season which saw the club become SCEFL champions. Matt was also very instrumental in the help off the pitch during pre season.

Matt's overall record stands at 81 Games with 37 wins, 15 draws and 29 defeats during his spells as the Deres manager.

The club will review the next stages for the future in particular the new managerial replacement. All thoughts now turn to a huge game on Sunday where we face Lancing FC.
